Whole wheat spaghetti in Carbonara Sauce Recipe

Ingredients 375 grams whole wheat spaghetti
Carbonara Sauce 3 eggs 4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese. 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil 1 tablespoon olive oil 200 grams chopped ham 1 chopped onion 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 4 tablespoons white wine ˝ cup cream
Preparation
- Boil the spaghetti in water until just tender and drain well. Keep them warm.
- In a bowl whisk the eggs properly, with the cheese, parsley and basil.
- Heat up the oil in a pan, and cook the ham, onions and garlic over medium heat for 4-5 minutes. Add the wine and the cream; cook over low heat until it reduces to half.
- Take the pan out of the fire and pour the egg mix, add the spaghetti, mix up thoroughly and serve right away.
For a perfect meal serve with hot brown bread.
