Vienna Pears
- For: 6 servings
- Time: 75 minutes
Ingredients: 6 large winter pears 6 cups water 6 tsps coffee 250 ml skimmed milk 300 grs sugar
Preparation:
- Peel the pears storing the tails.
- Dissolve the coffee in water adding 50 grs of sugar.
- Cover the pears and cook them until they are very soft.
- Place them on a serving tray and let the cooking juice evaporate adding the rest of the sugar until you get syrup that will cover the wooden spoon.
- Pour the coffee syrup on top of the pears and place in the fridge until the moment of serving.
- Accompany it with skimmed milk.
