Vanilla Ice cream

 

Ingredients
½ lt milk
2 eggs
100 gr sugar
15 gr cornstarch
1 tbspn vanilla sugar
2 tbspn milk cream

Preparation

  1. Mix the cornstarch in ½ cup of milk
  2. Heat the remaining milk
  3. Beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar. Add the milk and diluted cornstarch, mix continuously.
  4. Put in a pot and heat at low flame until it thickens; remove from stove once it begins to boil. Let it cool and add the milk cream.

Alternative
Ingredients
6 egg yolks
40 ml milk
225 gr sugar
1 tspn vanilla
40 ml milk cream

Preparation

  1. Beat the yolks with the sugar in a double sauce pan.
  2. Heat the milk and add the vanilla, then incorporate to the yolk mix.
  3. Stir all together in double sauce pan without it boiling and beat well until its smooth. Cool quickly by dipping the pot in a pan full of cold water so the milk doesn’t curdle.
  4. Beat the milk cream and add to the original mix.
