Vanilla Ice cream
Ingredients ½ lt milk 2 eggs 100 gr sugar 15 gr cornstarch 1 tbspn vanilla sugar 2 tbspn milk cream
Preparation
- Mix the cornstarch in ½ cup of milk
- Heat the remaining milk
- Beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar. Add the milk and diluted cornstarch, mix continuously.
- Put in a pot and heat at low flame until it thickens; remove from stove once it begins to boil. Let it cool and add the milk cream.
Alternative Ingredients 6 egg yolks 40 ml milk 225 gr sugar 1 tspn vanilla 40 ml milk cream
Preparation
- Beat the yolks with the sugar in a double sauce pan.
- Heat the milk and add the vanilla, then incorporate to the yolk mix.
- Stir all together in double sauce pan without it boiling and beat well until its smooth. Cool quickly by dipping the pot in a pan full of cold water so the milk doesn’t curdle.
- Beat the milk cream and add to the original mix.
