Uruguayan Glazed Pumpkin Recipe
Ingredients: 1 kg of pumpkin 75 grs of butter 1 ½ tbsps of brown sugar 1 lemon Salt
Preparation: Turn on the oven and graduate the heat to 175 degrees.
Peel the pumpkin and cut the pulp in dice. There should be three cups of pulp. Place the pulp, the melted butter, the sugar, a little salt and the squeezed lemon into a container with a lid for the oven. Cover the container with the lid and place it in the oven letting it cook for 30 minutes. After the time is done, remove the lid and let it cook in the oven for another 15 minutes until the pumpkin is very soft.
