There is nothing more delicious than melted honey on a piece of hot toasted bread. This glamorous version of a typical breakfast can be served at any moment of the day and constitutes an excellent collation. The mascarpone cheese can be replaced by a spoonful of ice cream & for those that are controlling the amount of calories they are eating, low fat cream cheese or natural creamy yogurt can be an excellent option.

Ingredients
4 thick slices of bread
4 tablespoons of mascarpone cheese
8 tablespoons of thick beehive honey
Lemon skin grated finely chopped
75 grams of raspberries and blueberries
½ teaspoon of ground nutmeg
Fruit juice, for serving
Preparation
- Toast the beard until it is golden and firm. Mix the mascarpone cheese with 2 tablespoons of honey and the grated lemon peel.
- Place a little of the remaining honey in a hot pan, then add a heaping tablespoon of mascarpone cheese and spread it over the toasted bread.
- Spread a little bit of fruit over and around the toasted bread and pour the rest of the honey on top. Grate some nutmeg over each slice of bread. Serve them out with a big glass of juice.
