Stuffed Spiral Recipe
Ingredients 20 grs yeast 1 teaspoon sugar ¼ of cup of milk Flour A pinch of salt 1 egg Grated lemon peel 60 grs butter Warm milk
Filling Melted butter ¼ of cup chopped raisins, nuts, and prunes 1 teaspoon of cognac
Dough Preparation
- In small cooking bowl mix yeast with sugar add warm milk and mix until obtaining a smooth, creamy substance, let it rise for 10 minutes.
- In other cooking bowl mix flour, grated lemon peel, butter, sugar and yeast previously mix.
- Mix all the ingredients until obtaining soft workable dough; let the dough rise for 30 minutes.
Filling Preparation
- Spread the dough over a clean table and butter the dough with melted butter.
- Mix the dry fruit with the cognac and spread over the dough.
- Cut the dough in shape of spirals, let it rise for 30 minutes and then bake for 35 minutes.
- Let it cool down before serving.
