Strawberry Sweet
Ingredients Strawberries, 1 kilogram Brown sugar, 1 kilogram Water, 1 cup Strawberry essence, to the taste Lemon essence, to the taste
Preparation Wash the strawberries. Mix in the sugar with the water in a casserole and allow it to cook until it comes to a boiling point. Once the water and sugar starts to thicken, add in the strawberries. Cook the strawberries until they look transparent. Once this occurs take them out of the casserole with a strainer. Place them inside a jar filling up only 2/3 of the jar. Put the syrup back onto the heat then let it boil for another 10 minutes. Add in the essences to the sytup. Mix and pour the preparation on top of the strawberries in the jar. Slightly mix so that the mixture goes down to the bottom of the jar. Keep in the refrigerator.
