Strawberry Pie Recipe
Ingredients 1 ½ cup of crushed toasted bread 150 grs melted butter ½ of teaspoon cinnamon
Filling ¼ cup of water 1 Teaspoon of gelatin 3 eggs yolks ½ cup of sugar 250 ml milk 200 grs strawberry 3 eggs whites ½ cup of sugar Chantilly cream
Preparation
- In small bowl mix toasted bread and melted butter, and mix until obtaining moist cold dough, spread dough over a pan and refrigerate for 20 minutes
- In a small bowl mix water gelatin egg yolks ½ cup of sugar and beat until obtaining a spongy substance gradually add milk and cook in a double sauce pan until it thickens. Remove from the fire and let it cool down.
- Blend the strawberries.
- Beat the egg whites with ½ cup of sugar add blended strawberries. To the above mix,
- Pour the stuffing over the refrigerate dough. Refrigerate pie for 2 hours.
- Decorated the pie with Chantilly cream or whip cream.
