Curative properties
Hepatic affections, asthma, bile gallstones, hemorrhoids, and urine retention: eat one kilogram of strawberries a day.
Aphonic, pharyngitis, and laryngitis: drink a strawberry juice twice a day.
Arthritis, rheumatism: squeeze strawberries and mix the remaining juice, in equal parts with cold water. Take one spoonful every hour.
Increase appetite, abdominal pain: eat 5 strawberries before meals.
Complexion care: grind 2 to 3 strawberries to prepare a mask. Place over affected area, leave for 20 minutes and remove with warm water.
Digestive: prepare an infusion with the top part of the strawberries (where the leaves are). Drink after meals.
Diuretic: crush the strawberries and add cold water. Drink 3 times a day.
Pain or eye inflammation, skin marks: crush the strawberries and apply over affected area or squeeze and use the remaining juice to clean the area, leaving on all night. For skin marks, you can also apply strawberry juice with lemon over affected area for half an hour.
Fever: specially for any typhoid symptom. Squeeze ¼ kilogram of strawberries and strain the resulting liquid. Dilute this juice in a triple quantity of water and take several times a day.
Gout: consumed to eliminate uric acid.
Laxative: eat a fistful of strawberries every day.
Blood cleanliness: eat a kilogram of strawberries a day divided in 2 portions.
Cry cough: crush the strawberries with brown sugar. Cook in steam and eat 3 times a day.
Tuberculosis: eat 500g or one kilogram of strawberries daily.
Precaution
In case of pregnancy or nursing, do not follow any treatment without medical supervision. Not recommended in case of formation of gallstones or allergic to aspirin. Allergic persons or with delicate intestines should avoid this fruit because it is irritating. Its depurative action can provoke pimples since it eliminates impurities through the skin.
