Strawberries with pineapple
- For 6 servings

- Time 30 minutes plus soaking
Ingredients 450gr fresh strawberries 1tbsp glazed sugar 2tbsp kirsch 400gr pineapple in melba 450gr skimmed milk 1 egg white 30gr powdered sugar
Preparation
- Set some strawberries aside to use for decoration, cut the rest of the strawberries in slices.
- Place the kirsch and a tbsp of sugar in a bowl.
- Add the strawberries and let them soak for two hours.
- Mash the pineapples well (set a few quarter pineapple slices on a side to decorate.
- Beat the egg white till stiff and mix with the skimmed milk.
- Add the rest of the sugar and mix well, add the pineapple melba.
- Place the mix into a tray, put the strawberries and pineapple slices to decorate the top.
- Put in the fridge for a while and serve with biscuits.
Practical advice The strawberries lose their bitterness if when put to soak with the sugar you add a couple of drops of vinegar.
