Starch Cake Recipe
Ingredients: 500grs of yucca starch flour 125grs of sugar 250grs of butter Powdered cinnamon Powdered cloves 2tsps of orange blossom water 2 eggs
Preparation: Pass the flour through a sifter and place it on top of a marble and give to it the shape of a volcano. Make a hole in the center of the flour and place the diced soft butter, the eggs, sugar, water, cinnamon and the cloves in the center. Work well on the dough for the ingredients to be well mixed. Add the flour little by little to the mix.
Place some flour on the marble and spread the dough thickly. Cut in triangles or in any shape you wish, and on each triangle make slight cuts with a knife to decorate them.
Butter an oven tray and place the starch cakes in it, let them cook at a medium heat until the surface is slightly brown.
