- Preparation time: 20 minutes
- Baking time: 40 minutes
Preparation
- Preheat the oven at a moderate temperature of 180 degrees C. Grease a deep crowned shaped baking pan of 20 centimeters in diameter with melted butter or oil.
- Put all of the ingredients in a big bowl and beat them with an electric beater on the lowest velocity until it has mixed well. Then turn the electric mixer’s velocity up a little and continue beating it for another 2 minutes or until the mixture becomes homogenous or changes color.
- Use a spoon to put the mixture into the baking pan and smooth the surface with a spatula. Bake the cake for around 40 minutes or until when sticking a wooden pick in it, it comes out clean. Let it sit for 5 minutes afterwards. Then flip it over onto a metal rack and let it cool. Sprinkle the crown with confectioner’s sugar or if you like cover it with a glaze.
