Spices and Banana Bread Recipe
Ingredients 185 grams of butter 1/3 cup of sugarcane syrup 1 cup of brown sugar 2 eggs 1 and 1/3 cup of mashed banana 2 and ½ cups of whole-wheat flour ½ cup of white flour 1 teaspoon of baking soda 1 tablespoon of ground ginger 2 teaspoons of varied spices ¼ teaspoon of ground cloves 2 tablespoons of milk

Preparation
- Preheat the oven at a moderate temperature of 180 degrees C. Grease a deep square 23 centimeter baking pan with melted butter or oil. Wrap the base of the baking pan and the walls with wax paper.
- Beat the butter, the sugarcane syrup, and the sugar in a bowl until you obtain a creamy mixture. Add the eggs in gradually beating constantly. Then continue beating it and add in the mashed bananas. Sift both types of flour, the baking soda and the spices. Add these ingredients to the mixture with the milk and continue beating.
- Pour the cake dough into a mold with the help of a spoon and smoothen out the surface. Bake the cake for 1 hour or until when poking a wooden pick in it, it comes out clean. Let it sit for 3 minutes once it is done. Then place the cake over a metal rack and allow it to cool. Cover it with ginger and lemon glaze and decorate it with pieces of sugarcoated ginger.
