Shepherds Pie Recipe

Ingredients
750 gr cooked lamb
25 gr butter
2 medium onions, minced finely
¼ cup flour
½ tsp powder mustard
1½ chicken broth
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper

Potato covering
130 ml warm milk
30 gr butter
Salt and pepper
4 large potatoes, cooked and mashed

Preparation

  1. Pre heat the oven at 190c, butter pan with butter or oil.
  2. Cut lamb meat in small pieces and fry in a pan with onions gradually add flour, mustard and chicken broth, mix all the ingredients until obtaining a smooth sauce, let it cook for 3 minutes
  3. Add milk, butter, salt and pepper to the previously mashed potatoes, mix until obtaining a smooth cream, pour the meat on the butter pan,  spread  mash potatoes over it making  a pie, bake in the oven until top part its golden brown.
