Once the leaves have been cut, a yellowish sap comes out, that with contact with the air, it starts acquiring a reddish color.  This substance is commonly called iodine.  Any preparation with sabila can’t have iodine, which is why it is recommended to use the plants gel as soon as possible.

Compresses: submerge any natural porous fiber in the infusion and place it over the affected area until discomfort diminishes.  Can also be used cold.

Creams and ointments: put 50 drops of aloe tincture and 50 drops of marigold tincture in 100g of odorless moisturizing cream.

Infusion: add 3 to 4g of aloe powder to one cup of boiling water.  Let stand.

Juice: grate the full leaves, skin with pulp, until obtaining a homogeneous paste.

Powder: dry in the sun or in oven the solid residues from the aloe juice. Grind until it turns into powder.

Tincture: grind 350g of leaves and mix 550ml of medicinal alcohol of 96ยบ and 450ml of distilled or mineral water.  Macerate 20 days, shaking it for one minute every day.  Store in a dark container out of the light.
