Rum Biscuit Recipe
Ingredients: 1 biscuit ½ cup of rum 2 cups of sugar 1 ½ cups of water 1 vanilla stem Powdered cinnamon
Preparation: Cook the biscuit in a rectangular mold for this recipe for it not to be too thick. Once cooked let it cool off and then cut in rectangular shapes which will be placed in an oven tray.
Prepare syrup with the water, the sugar and the vanilla. Once the syrup has thickened a little remove from fire and add the rum. Stir the syrup and let it cool off a little. Bathe the biscuits with the warm syrup, with the help of a spoon for them to be well soaked. They can be served in a tray but will be better served if each biscuit is placed in a paper mold. Sprinkle them with powdered cinnamon before serving them.
