- Add the sifted powder sugar little by little while you mix it with a steel spatula. Finally add the lemon juice.
- You can notice that it’s ready by the following pointers:
- It loses its brightness - It makes peaks when lifting the spatula. - It doesn’t fall off when turning the bowl up side down.
- Once the glaze is ready let it rest.
- Every time you use the royal glaze you must beat it.
How to give the glaze color The glaze can be given color with food coloring. Use the ones that come in a paste for the glaze not to lose its thickness. Mix the food coloring with tbsp of glaze and mix well, only then can you add it to the rest of the glaze.
This way you can get a good food coloring dilution, and can slowly be trying out the color obtained.
How to give the glaze a multicolor effect Whichever of the following two methods are surprisingly good for giving the appropriate coloring to tint decorative flowers.
Painted Before filling the decorating sleeve with glaze, paint the inside of the decorating sleeve with the colors needed. Fill with the glaze; when coming out the glaze will be streaked.
With a spatula Place a little glaze with food coloring on one side of the decorating sleeve with the help of a spatula or knife. Fill the decorating sleeve with a lower toned or a contrasting colored glaze. This way the glaze will come out speckled.
To make flowers put some glaze on the side of the decorating sleeve where the thinner part of the filter tip is at to make the petals.
