Ricotta Bread Recipe
Ingredients 250 grs flour 60 grs sugar A pinch of salt 1 egg 1 cup of oil 1 teaspoon vanilla
Cream 200 grs of ricotta 2 egg yolks ¼ of cup chopped nuts, grated lemon peel and glazed sugar Whip cream
Dough Preparation
- In a small cooking bowl mix yeast and warm milk and let it rise for10 minutes.
- In other cooking bowl mix flour, egg, oil, vanilla and yeast, mix all the ingredients until obtaining soft workable dough, let rise for 30 minutes.
Cream Preparation
- Mix ricotta, egg yolks, chopped dry fruit and whip cream beat with electric mixer until obtaining a creamy substance.
- Spread the dough over a clean table; cover the dough with the ricotta cream cut the dough in three parts evenly and braid. Let the dough rise for 30 minutes them bake for 40 minutes. Served once the ricotta braid its cold.
