Rice and Apple Biscuit Recipe
Ingredients: 150grs of rice 2 apples 1 liter of milk 3 eggs 150grs of sugar 1 lemon
Preparation: Peel the apples and cut in small dice. Place them in a tray with 4 tbsps of water and let them cook at a low flame stirring them frequently until they become a thick puree. Be careful not to let them stick to the bottom of the container.
Wash the rice and let it soak with the milk for two hours. After place it in the fire and let it cook for half an hour stirring it frequently until it becomes thick. 5 minutes before the cooking is finished add the sugar. Remove the rice from the fire and let it cool off a little. Add the apple puree and the grated lemon. Finally, add the eggs and stir it all well.
Put a tbsp of sugar and one of water in a flan mold and heat up to form the caramel making sure it spreads well on the surface of the flan mold’s walls. Pour the mix into the flan mold and cook the biscuit in a double sauce pan inside the oven for 45 minutes making sure the water boils very slowly. Serve cold.
