Quick Chicken Curry Recipe
4 servings
Ingredients 45 grams butter 1 chopped onion ˝ teaspoon garlic powder 1 chopped green pepper 3 teaspoons curry powder 1 teaspoon cumin powder 2 tablespoons flour 2 cups (500 ml) chicken broth
Preparation
1. Cooked chicken, boned and skinned, cut into not very small pieces
2. Melt the butter in a large frying pan and fry the onion, garlic and the green pepper over medium fire or until the onion softens.
3. Add the curry, cumin and flour, and cook for 1 more minute. Add the broth, stirring constantly, until the mix boils and thickens. Add the chicken and continue cooking over low heat for 3 minutes or until the chicken gets warm.
Serving suggestion Serve with boiled rice. You can also add chopped tomatoes and onions, peanuts, bananas, coconut and cucumber in yogurt.
Maple Cream recipe 4 servings
Ingredients 1 cup (250 ml) thick cream ˝ cup (125 ml) vanilla pudding mix. 1 cup (250 grams) natural yogurt 3 tablespoons maple honey 2 tablespoons old rum 3 tablespoons toasted sliced almonds
Preparation Whip the cream until it can form soft peaks. Add the pudding mix, yogurt, maple honey and rum, stirring with circling movements. Serve in personal dishes and garnish with almonds. Refrigerate.
