Pumpkin Pie Recipe
Ingredients 1 ¼ cup of flour 100 grs of butter 2 teaspoons of glazed sugar 4 teaspoons of cold water 1 egg yolk
Filling 2 pre beaten eggs ¾ cup of brown sugar 500 grs of mash pumpkin ¼ cup of milk cream 1 teaspoon of liquor 1 teaspoon of cinnamon 1 teaspoon of nutmeg ½ teaspoon of ginger
Preparation
- In a small bowl beat butter, Flour, sugar and water mix until obtaining smooth dough,
- Refrigerate the dough for 1 hour before using.
- Pre heat oven at 180c butter pan with butter or oil, bake the pie crust for 10 minutes remove from the oven and let it cool down.
- In a small coking bowl beat eggs, sugar gradually add mash pumpkin, liquor and spices beat until obtaining a smooth cream, pour the pumpkin cream on the baked pie crust.
- Bake the pie for 40 minutes, decorate pie with cinnamon.
