Apple Tart Recipe

 

Ingredients
½ an amount of sweet crumble pie recipe (see sweet crumble pie recipe)

Apple Tart Filling
850 grams of mashed apples
¼ cup of sugar
½ teaspoon of ground clove
½ teaspoon of ground anise

 

Preparation of recipe

  1. Filling: In a bowl mix the asserted spices (anise and clove) with the mashed apples and sugar.
  2. Roll on 2/3 of the dough, leaving it 3 millimeters thick, and cover with it a greased mold of 23 cm diameter. Empty the filling on to the dough and even it out.
  3. Extend the remaining dough over the filling, pair out the borders and bend them under the former dough layer. Pinch the edges to give it an extra touch.
  4. Bake the apple tart for 20 minutes then reduce the temperature to 160°C and bake for another 35-40 minutes or until the dough is well cooked and turns brown.
