Apple Tart Recipe
Ingredients ½ an amount of sweet crumble pie recipe (see sweet crumble pie recipe)
Apple Tart Filling 850 grams of mashed apples ¼ cup of sugar ½ teaspoon of ground clove ½ teaspoon of ground anise
Preparation of recipe
- Filling: In a bowl mix the asserted spices (anise and clove) with the mashed apples and sugar.
- Roll on 2/3 of the dough, leaving it 3 millimeters thick, and cover with it a greased mold of 23 cm diameter. Empty the filling on to the dough and even it out.
- Extend the remaining dough over the filling, pair out the borders and bend them under the former dough layer. Pinch the edges to give it an extra touch.
- Bake the apple tart for 20 minutes then reduce the temperature to 160°C and bake for another 35-40 minutes or until the dough is well cooked and turns brown.
