Plum Mousse

 

Ingredients for 1kg
2 kg. of plums
150 grs. of brown sugar
Powdered cinnamon and clover
  • Preparation time: 30 min approx
  • Cooking time: 2 ½ hrs
  1. Wash and dry the plums. Split the plums to withdraw the seed.
  2. Place the plums in a pot and begin to cook. Once hey reach boiling point, lower the flame and let them cook for 2hrs. Until they soften. Every now and then go stirring them so they don’t stick to the pot.
  3. Smash the plums making turning them in to pulp.
  4. Boil the pulp together with the sugar for another 30min until the sugar dissolves.
  5. Wash the crystals recipients with hot water, and let them drip dry.
  6. Mix the pulp with the cinnamon and clover.
  7. Fill the crystal recipients with the plum pulp and close them immediately. The mousse will last for about 3 months in a fresh place.
