Pecan and Nut Macadamia Pie

Pecan and Nut Macadamia Pie

Ingredients
180 grams of cookies
90 grams of dry coconut, not sweetened
125 grams of melted butter
125 grams of macadamia nuts without salt
60 grams of pecans
3 beaten eggs
180 ml of maple syrup
Whipped cream, for serving

Preparation

  1. To prepare the pie, mash the cookies and the coconut until they are finely ground. Place this in a bowl and add in the melted butter stirring until it is all well mixed. Pour the mixture into a 25-centimeter mold and keep in the refrigerator until it solidifies.
  2. For the filling, extend the macadamia nuts and the pecans on the surface of the already prepared pie. Mix the rest of the ingredients and pour it on top of the dry fruit.
  3. Bake at a low temperature of 170 degrees for 45 minutes until the pie slightly browns and is firm on the top. Serve hot or at environment temperature accompanied by whipped cream.

Serves 8.
