Curative properties
Increase appetite: eat a pear before meals.
Lower blood pressure: eat daily one or two kilograms of peeled pears, for 10 days.
Bronchitis, cough: eat steamed pears and eat three to four times a day.
Cystitis, urinary tract inflammation, vaginal inflammation: wash area with the pear infusion.
Cholesterol, digestive, stimulant: eat a raw, ripe pear regularly.
Diuretic, laxative: eat ripe pears fasting.
Throat pain: peel two or three pears and prepare juice. Add 2 teaspoons of honey and drink.
Nauseas: pit the pear and add 10 to 15 cloves. Remove cloves and eat.
Hangover: to prevent it, drink pear juice or the infusion.
Precaution
In case of pregnancy or nursing, do not follow any treatment without medical supervision. If it is not well chewed or crushed, the pear can cause gastric or intestinal obstruction. Not recommended for people with anemia or diarrhea.
