Peanut Ice Cream Recipe

A specialty for all peanut lovers.

Ingredients
50 grams of crunchy peanut butter
50 grams of white chocolate
50 grams of clear creamy honey
50 ml of fresh orange juice
1 tablespoon of limejuice
½ cup of orange liqueur
200 grams of milk cream

  • Preparation time: 15 minutes approximately
  • Sitting time: 15 minutes
  • Freezing time: 5 to 6 hours

Preparation

  1. Prepare a double boiler or use a saucepan that fits into another bigger one. Place the peanut butter in the double boiler. Break the chocolate into pieces and add it in as well. Add in the honey and the orange juice.
  2. Put the saucepan in a bigger one with hot water and stir the ingredients with a metal mixer until they are well mixed together. Or heat up all of the ingredients in a microwave for 1 and ½ minutes at 700 watts and then beat them with the metal mixer.
  3. Then let the mixture cool and stir every once in awhile.
  4. Mix in the limejuice and then eventually add in the liqueur when the mixture has finished cooling.
  5. Beat the milk cream until it stiffens.
  6. Add the whipped cream little by little to the peanut butter mixture: start out by putting in one spoon full at a time, then carefully add it in at larger quantities.
  7. Immediately put the mixture in a freezer container of at least ½ liter of capacity and freeze the ice cream for at least 5 to 6 hours at –18 degrees C. It is not necessary to stir it. Once it has finished freezing, make ice cream balls and decorate them as you wish with grinded peanuts or whipped cream.
