Pastrami and cheese hot
sandwiches recipe

 

4 servings

Ingredients
20 grams of butter
2 onions, sliced
8 buttered slices of bread
2 teaspoons of French mustard
8 slices of pastrami or ham
4 slices of gruyere cheese

Preparation

  1. Fry the onions with butter for 3-4 minutes.
  2. Spread mustard on the bread on the side without butter and place the pastrami, onions and cheese. Cover with the remaining bread with the buttered sides upwards.
  3. Fry the sandwiches in a pan for 3-4 minutes on each side until crispy.


Yogurt with fruit

Ingredients
3 tablespoons of minced raisins
10 cherries in syrup cut in fours
8 dates, without the core and minced
185 ml of boiling water
125 of orange juice
2 teaspoons of Jell-O
375 ml of yogurt
2 tablespoons of brown sugar

Preparation

  1. In a bowl with the boiling water add the cherries and dates. Soak for 10 minutes the drain.
  2. Pour the orange juice in a pitcher or cup for microwaves, sprinkle the Jell-O and cook at the maximum (100%) for 40 seconds. You can also do it on the stove at medium heat stirring constantly until the Jell-O dissolves. Put the mix on the side for it to cool.
  3. Mix the yogurt and sugar, add the fruit and the Jell-O mix. Serve in individual cups and refrigerate until served.
