Orange Pudding

 

Orange Pudding

  • For: 6 servings
  • Time: 60 minutes

 

Ingredients:
1 can of orange jelly
¼ kilo bread
½ deciliter of milk
50 gr. raisins
1 cup cognac
50 gr butter
4 eggs
Sugar

Preparation:

  1. Boil the milk with sugar; add the bread which should be cut in thin slices.
  2. Stir with a wooden spoon near the fire for it to dissolve well.
  3. Remove from fire and add the orange jelly and the raisins which should have been left to soak in the cognac for a good while till they swell.
  4. Beat the eggs as to make omelets and add them to the batter. Add the butter and cognac.
  5. Make the caramel on a flan mold with a hole in the center by placing 4 tbsps of sugar and 2 tbsps of water, spread it all well and fill it with the batter.
  6. Cook in the oven in a double sauce pan for 40 minutes at a medium temperature.
  7. Remove from mold while it’s still warm.
