Orange Macedonia

  • Time  15 minutes plus the resting.

 

Ingredients
4 to 8 oranges according to their sizes
150gr figs
1 orange extract
½ lemon extract
2tbsp liquor
Sugar
50gr almonds

Preparation

  1. Peel oranges carefully and cut them in slices.
  2. Cut figs into very thin slices; place them in a glass bowl alternating them by layers with the orange slices.
  3. Mix the extracts with the liquor, pour on top of the Macedonia and place in fridge for about 2 hours, keep them covered with aluminum foil.
  4. Sprinkle the chopped and slightly toasted almonds on top at the moment of serving.

Practical advice
You can also accompany the Macedonia oranges with sugar or vanilla flavored skimmed milk.
