Orange Jam

 

Ingredients for 2 liters
1 1/2 kg of oranges (4 must stay unpeeled)
1 kg of sugar
Lemon juice (form 1 lemon)
8 nuts
  • Marinating time: an entire night
  • Preparation time: 30 min
  1. Wash out the 4 unpeeled oranges with hot water. Finely peel them and cut up the peel into thing slices.
  2. Cut up all the peeled oranges together with these 4 into small pieces.
  3. Mix together the orange pieces with the sliced orange peel, sugar and lemon juice. Let it marinate for an entire night until forms juice.
  4. The next morning withdraw the nuts form their shell and cut into pieces.
  5. Wash the crystals recipients with hot water, and let them drip dry.
  6. Cook the mixture on a high flame and then on a low one for 2-4min, constantly stirring them.
  7. Add the broken nuts to the mixture.
  8. Fill the crystal recipients with the jam and close them immediately. The jam should last for about 6 months in a fresh place.
