Orange Jam
Ingredients for 2 liters 1 1/2 kg of oranges (4 must stay unpeeled) 1 kg of sugar Lemon juice (form 1 lemon) 8 nuts
- Marinating time: an entire night
- Preparation time: 30 min
- Wash out the 4 unpeeled oranges with hot water. Finely peel them and cut up the peel into thing slices.
- Cut up all the peeled oranges together with these 4 into small pieces.
- Mix together the orange pieces with the sliced orange peel, sugar and lemon juice. Let it marinate for an entire night until forms juice.
- The next morning withdraw the nuts form their shell and cut into pieces.
- Wash the crystals recipients with hot water, and let them drip dry.
- Cook the mixture on a high flame and then on a low one for 2-4min, constantly stirring them.
- Add the broken nuts to the mixture.
- Fill the crystal recipients with the jam and close them immediately. The jam should last for about 6 months in a fresh place.
