Orange cream

 

Orange cream

  • For  6 servings
  • Difficulty  low
  • Time  15 minutes plus refrigeration

 

Ingredients
2 large oranges (or three small oranges)
2 eggs
10gr Cornstarch
28gr sugar

Preparation

  1. Peel oranges completely, thin slice the orange peels.
  2. Squeeze oranges and get the extract.
  3. Beat 1 whole egg with a fork and add flour, sugar, sliced peels and orange extract slowly.
  4. Add a few tbsp of water.
  5. Place all into a pot and heat it softly on a double sauce pan stirring continuously with a wooden ladle.
  6. When it has a good consistency remove from fire and let it cool off a little stirring continuously.
  7. Beat an egg white until stiff and add it to the warm cream, pour all into a glass cup and place in the fridge to cool off (at least 1 hour).
  8. When serving place a thin slice of orange peel to decorate.
