Cholesterol: to reduce bad cholesterol, eat the bran oats.
Throat or chest pain: drink the infusion of oat flakes.
Eczemas, aphtha, herpes, and bites: apply an oat cataplasm, mixed with water until a paste is formed over affected area.
Fatigue: drink 3 cups daily of the brew of 20g of oats in one liter of water, boiled for 30 minutes.
Hepatitis: add germinated oats and dry orange peel in a cup of boiling water to prepare the infusion. Drink one cup 3 times a day.
Nursing: to stop milk production, boil for half an hour 20g of germinated oats in a liter of water and drink one cup 3 times a day.
Laxative: eat oats with apples or plums.
Skin problems: boil half a kilo of oats in 2 liters of water for 30 minutes, strain and add to bath water.
Rheumatism: apply a cooked oat cataplasm with vinegar over the affected area.
Precaution
In case of pregnancy or nursing, do not follow any treatment without medical supervision. Oats contain gluten. Allergic people to gluten must rest the oat brew until a solid mass is deposited at the bottom of the container. Then, strain the resultant liquid before using.
