Nut rolls
Ingredients 185 grs chopped nuts 500 grs glazed sugar 185 ml milk cream 2 tspn liquid sugar 1 tspn vanilla
Preparation
- Pre heat the oven bake the nuts for 4 minutes until they look crunchy, and chop in small pieces let them cool down.
- in a small pot in low fire melt , sugar , milk cream , liquid sugar and a pinch a salt until obtaining a smooth substance let it boil for 10 minutes with out stirring , remove from the fire, let it cool down , add vanilla and 1/3 of the nuts and beat with an electric mixer until the mix can be spread
- put the batter in a pan until is harden a bit , Knead until obtaining a soft flexible dough , divide the dough in 2 rolls , deep them in the nuts and cover then with wax paper
- put the 2 rolls in the refrigerator until harden , cut in slices and served like sweets
