Norwegian Clementine
Ingredients 6 large clementines 1 lemon (juice only) 150 gr sugar 200 ml milk cream Italian Meringue Orange or Clementine liquor
Preparation
- Take the insides out of the clementines without damaging the skin. Mash the pulp and add the lemon juice and sugar, mix well until it dissolves. Add the milk cream mixing well and refrigerate. Keep the clementines in the fridge.
- Prepare the Italian meringue.
- Fill the clementine with the ice cream, and decorate with the meringue.
- Place the clementines in an oven pan and bake with the grill until the meringue changes color. Take out of the oven and sprinkle with the clementine liquor (optional).
This can also be done with tangerines or oranges and flambéed with other liquors.
