Molded Pastry Dough
Mushrooms Knead a roll of beige pastry dough to make the base of the mushroom and with a brochette stick place it onto a Styrofoam piece leaving 1cm on top of the pastry dough roll. To make the top knead pastry dough ball and sprinkle powdered sugar on the top part and make the bottom side flat and the top convex. Make some cuts in the bottom to make the radii shapes. Place it on the piece of brochette stick that is out to hold it together: remove it and let it dry on top of a flat, sprinkled, soft surface. Once it is dry paint it with much diluted brown food coloring, sprinkle cinnamon or cocoa on top.
Mice Take a portion of the brown pastry dough and make a ball with it. Knead it and give to it the shape of a cone for the body. Place a stick on the top of it and let it dry. Make another smaller ball and make another little cone with it for the head. Place it on top of the body and stick it together with some drops of glaze. Form two indents for the eyes and other two indents for the ears with a stick.
Make two small balls and flatten them to make the ears and place them in their places with the help of a stick. Make two rolls for the arms, make them thinner for the wrists and bend a little for the elbows. Make the fingers. Let it dry and stick the arms to the body with glaze. Make two small balls and flatten them a little to make the feet that should be placed under the body. Make a thin line to make the tail and stick it to the body. Finally, fill the eyes with black glaze, the mouth and inner ears with pink glaze. Draw some whiskers. The mice can be dressed with suits made with fondant.

Note
- All the pastry dough pieces are stuck together with consistent royal glaze once they are dry.
- Since the pastry dough dries quickly its advisable to cover it while you work with it.
