Mint Sherbet

  • For: 6 servings
  • Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients:
200 grs sugar
100 ml water
A few drops of green food coloring
1 lemon
1 cup mint (peppermint) liquor
10 to 12 ice cubes

Preparation:

  1. Place the sugar with the water in a pot and stir carefully for it to dissolve well, place it in the fire and let it cook for 5 minutes to make thick syrup.
  2. Add the grated lemon, its extract and the green food coloring, let it boil and then cool off.
  3. Grind the ice until it becomes an iced drink and in that moment add the lemon syrup and blend it for a while.
  4. Place into a bowl and put into the freezer for ½ hour, after which you add the mint liquor, stir well.
  5. Lace in the freezer again for another ½ hour and serve in tall glasses.
