Meringue Banana Recipe
Ingredients: 6 bananas 3 eggs 2 cups of evaporated milk ½ cup of sugar 2tsps of flour Vanilla Cookies Salt
Preparation: Mix the flour in half a cup of milk. The rest of the milk is placed on fire with the sugar. Crack the eggs and separate the yolks from the whites. Once the milk is about to boil, remove from fire and add the milk and flour mix. Stir it all well and place it on the fire again and let it cook for 3 minutes. Remove from fire and let it cool off. Add to them the beat egg yolks and place back on the very low flame fire, stir constantly until it starts boiling. Peel the bananas and cut them into not too thick slices.
Place a layer of cookies in a deep and long tray, place a layer of bananas on top of the cookies and cover them with the cream. Repeat the process which should end in a layer of cream.
Turn on the oven and put it at a very high heat. Beat the egg whites and a couple spoons of powdered sugar and a dab of salt until stiff. Cover the dessert with the meringue and place it in the oven to brown the meringue.
