It is very easy to convert store bought ice creams into delicious temptations.
Here are some ideas on how to:
- Add in conserved chopped ginger with a little of its own juice to melted vanilla ice cream and freeze it again.
- Add in crushed cookies and Grand Marnier to melted vanilla ice cream and freeze it again. A variation of this is also chopped almonds and Amaretto.
- Pour caramel sauce or whisky sauce and chopped hazelnuts in melted vanilla ice cream and freeze it again.
- Add glazed cherries and apricots and rum raisins to vanilla or chocolate melted ice cream for one night. Mix well and freeze again.
- Melt dark chocolate in a double boiler, let it cool and add it to melted chocolate ice cream, and freeze again.
- Pour raspberry sauce over melted strawberry ice cream and freeze it again.
- Chop almonds with toffee covering and mix them with honey. Add them to melted vanilla ice cream and freeze again.
- Pour apricot puree over melted vanilla ice cream and freeze again.
All of these additional ingredients can also be used as decorations for ice creams.
