Fruit Compote
Ingredients
4 solid ripe peaches, in halves
1 cup of red wine
3-4 tablespoons of honey
1 cinnamon stick
Preparation
Cut the peaches in thin slices. Place the wine, honey, and cinnamon in a pot and when it begins to boil lower the flame and cook for another 5 minutes; add the peaches and cook for another 5-10 minutes or until the fruit is a bit soft, withdraw from the fire and let it cool, then refrigerate.
