Lemon Pie Recipe

 

Ingredients
100 grs butter
100 grs sugar
1 egg
1 egg yolk 
Grated lemon peel
200 grs flour
½ teaspoon baking powder

Filling 
1 ½ cup of water
¾ of cup sugar
4 eggs yolks
4 teaspoon cornstarch
4 eggs white
Lemon juice

Preparation

  1. In a small cooking bowl beat butter, sugar and eggs yolks, gradually add the grated the lemon peel and flour mix until obtaining soft dough.
  2. Cover the pan with dough and bake for 15 minutes
  3. In a small pot boil sugar and water let it boil for 3 minutes or until it turns into syrup
  4. In a small cooking bowl beat eggs yolks cornstarch, lemon juice and syrup
  5. Cook in low fire, let it boil for 1 minute; add the cream to the previous cooked dough.
  6. Beat egg whites until they turn snow white, decorated the pie. Served cold.
