Lemon Pie Recipe
Ingredients 100 grs butter 100 grs sugar 1 egg 1 egg yolk Grated lemon peel 200 grs flour ½ teaspoon baking powder
Filling 1 ½ cup of water ¾ of cup sugar 4 eggs yolks 4 teaspoon cornstarch 4 eggs white Lemon juice
Preparation
- In a small cooking bowl beat butter, sugar and eggs yolks, gradually add the grated the lemon peel and flour mix until obtaining soft dough.
- Cover the pan with dough and bake for 15 minutes
- In a small pot boil sugar and water let it boil for 3 minutes or until it turns into syrup
- In a small cooking bowl beat eggs yolks cornstarch, lemon juice and syrup
- Cook in low fire, let it boil for 1 minute; add the cream to the previous cooked dough.
- Beat egg whites until they turn snow white, decorated the pie. Served cold.
