Curative properties

Acne: wash with the infusion or maceration.  Besides, rub over the affected area directly with fresh petals.

Thrush or mouth ulcers: do gargles with the juice.

Increase appetite: eat the pickle from the bud of the flower and ripe fruit, macerate in vinegar and salt.

Hair loss: so the hair can grow strong, apply the paste of the grinded leaves, stems and fresh flowers over the shaved head.

Scars: rub the flowers directly over the affected area or apply the grinded leaves. If not, apply a cataplasm, renewing every 8 hours.

Cuts and scrapes: used as disinfectant, apply a cataplasm renewing every 8 hours or wash with the juice.

Headache: apply a compress from the leaf and flower brew over affected area.

Bone pain: bathe with herbs from the leaves and roots.

Muscular pain: bathe with herbs from the leaves and roots.

Eczemas: rub the flowers directly over the affected or apply the grinded leaves.

Blows: it helps to soften the skin.  Rub the flowers directly over the affected area or apply grinded leaves.  If not, apply cataplasm, renewing every 8 hours.

Skin inflammation: softens and relaxes the inflamed areas.  Rub the flowers directly over the affected area or apply the grinded leaves.

Insomnia: eat the leaves with salads.

Cough: apply a cataplasm or leaves directly over the chest.

Preparation 

Herb bath: add to the bath between 300g and 500g of leaves and flowers for every 5 to 6 liters of water or a infusion, brew or essential oils.

Cataplasm: crush the flowers and leaves and soak in hot water until forming a paste.   Place them in any natural porous fiber and use as bandage over affected area until discomfort diminishes. Also apply directly over affected area covering the paste with a hot towel.

Brew: boil in low temperature 10g of leaves and flowers in a liter of water for 5 minutes.  Let stand for a few minutes and strain.

Compresses: submerge any natural porous fiber in the infusion and place it over the affected area until discomfort diminishes.  Can also be used cold.

Infusion: add 20g of flowers to a liter of boiling water.  Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes.  Strain and serve.

Juice: crush the plant with a few drops of water. Place in gauze, squeeze and strain the loose juice.

Maceration: add 20g of flowers in a liter of cold water.  Let stand for 6 to 8 hours agitating the container periodically.

Precaution
In case of pregnancy or nursing, do not use without medical supervision.  Do not take excessive doses.  Can cause stomach irritation.
