Lamb and Kidney Tart Recipe
Ingredients 750 grs of lamb meat 4 lamb kidneys 2 teaspoons of flour 1 teaspoon of oil 1 onion 30 grs of butter 1 teaspoon of tomato paste ½ cup of red wine 1 cup of meat broth 125 grs of chopped mushrooms 1/3 cup of chopped parlay 1 pack of pie dough 1 pre beaten egg
Preparation
- Cut the lamb meat and kidneys in small pieces, marinate the meat in flour.
- In a frying pan fry meat until golden brown, in a different pan fry onion until cooked, mix onion and fried meats in one pan add tomato paste, parley, red wine, mushrooms, meat broth and butter, let the ingredients boil for one hour in low fire. Remove from fire and let it cool down.
- Pre heat oven at 190c spread dough over a clean table, butter pan and pour meat over butter pan, cover the pie with previous spread dough, with cooking paint bush paint the pie with the beaten egg, bake pie for 40 minutes. Remove from the oven and let the pie cool down for a few minutes before serving.
