Kiwi Sweet
Ingredients Kiwis, 1 kilogram Brown sugar, 1 kilogram Water, 1 cup Lemon essence, to the taste
Preparation Wash, peel and cut the kiwis in small squares. Mix the sugar in the water in a casserole and cook until it comes to a boil. When it starts to thicken, add in the fruit. Let the fruit cook until it becomes transparent. Then take the fruit out of the casserole with a strainer. Place the syrup back onto the heat and allow it to boil for another 10 minutes. Add the lemon essence into the syrup. Mix and pour the preparation on top of the already bottled fruit until the bottle is full. Mix it around softly so that the syrup goes down into the bottle and through the fruit. Keep in the refrigerator.
