Kiwi and Blackberry Jam

 

Ingredients for 2 liters
500 grs of blackberries
1 lemon
1 kg of sugar
5 kiwis
  • Marinating time: 2 hrs
  • Preparation time: 30 min
  1. Wash and dry out the blackberries. Place them in a bowl and smash them with a fork.
  2. Wash the lemon with hot water, finely peel it and cut up the peel into thin slices. Squeeze out the lemon.
  3. Combine the blackberries together with the lemon peel, lemon juice, and sugar. Pour the mixture in a bowl and let it marinate for 2 hrs with a lid on top.
  4. Peel the kiwis and chop them up into thin slices.
  5. Wash the crystals recipients with hot water, and let them drip dry.
  6. Stir the blackberries in a pot on a high flame. Add the kiwis and cook for another 4 minutes on a low flame.
  7. Fill the crystal recipients with the jam and close them immediately. The jam should last for about 6 months in a fresh place.
