Acne and furuncles: apply the maceration over affected area.
Bronchitis: drink the infusion or brew. Also use compresses over chest.
Sudorific: drink the infusion or brew. Also use compresses over chest.
Cough: drink the infusion or brew. Also use compresses over chest.
Preparation
Brew: boil in low temperature 10g of leaves in a liter of water. Turn it off, let stand for a few minutes and strain. Drink 3 to 4 times a day.
Compresses: submerge any natural porous fiber in the infusion and place it over the affected area until discomfort diminishes. Can also be used cold.
Infusion: heat up one liter of water, once it has boiled, add 2 spoonfuls of leaves. Cover the container and let stand for 5 to 10 minutes. Strain and drink one cup before going to sleep.
Maceration: let stand the leaves and flowers in cold water for a period of 12 to 24 hours during summer and up to 48 hours during winter.
Precaution
In case of pregnancy or nursing, do not use without medical supervision. It’s a toxic plant, so it shouldn’t be used to often. Using high doses can produce serious liver disorders.
