Ingredients:
½ liter milk
100 grs various candied fruit
50 grs rice
1 cinnamon stick
10 grs jell-o
100 grs sugar
Heaven’s bacon:
6 egg yolks
200 grs sugar
Preparation:
Heaven’s bacon
- Melt 50 grs of sugar with the water until it has a light brown color, after pour into a container that will be used to prepare the dessert.
- Beat the egg yolks and add the sugar syrup which is prepared by cooking 180 grs of sugar with water.
- This mix is poured on top of the caramel which covers the bottom of the mold and cook in a double sauce pan with the mold being covered, for ½ hour until it thickens, remove from fire.
- Separately, boil the milk with a cinnamon stick; once it is boiled add the rice and let it cook.
- Once the rice is cooked, add the sugar and let it cook for another 5 minutes stirring with a wooden spoon.
- Remove from fire and pour the jell-o adding also the chopped candied fruit.
- Once the mix is warm place it on the mold on top of the heaven’s bacon placing the mold in the fridge.
- Remove from mold at the moment of serving.
