Heaven’s Bacon

  • For: 6 to 8 servings
  • Time: 60 minutes

 

Ingredients:
12 eggs
½ kg sugar
1 cup water
Lemon peel

Preparation:

  1. Dilute the sugar with water and boil.
  2. Once it starts boiling, time it for 5 minutes.
  3. Pour this syrup into a round mold of 26cm in diameter and a hole in the center.
  4. Mix the 12 egg yolks with 2 egg whites in a bowl with a wooden spoon.
  5. Mix with the syrup after having placed it into the mold.
  6. Place all the mix into the mold, cover with a tied napkin on top of the mold for it to get the vapor drops. Cook in a double sauce pan for 20 minutes.
  7. Let it cool off in the water.
