- For: 6 to 8 servings
- Time: 60 minutes
Ingredients:
12 eggs
½ kg sugar
1 cup water
Lemon peel
Preparation:
- Dilute the sugar with water and boil.
- Once it starts boiling, time it for 5 minutes.
- Pour this syrup into a round mold of 26cm in diameter and a hole in the center.
- Mix the 12 egg yolks with 2 egg whites in a bowl with a wooden spoon.
- Mix with the syrup after having placed it into the mold.
- Place all the mix into the mold, cover with a tied napkin on top of the mold for it to get the vapor drops. Cook in a double sauce pan for 20 minutes.
- Let it cool off in the water.
