Hazelnut Charlotte
- For: 6-8 servings
- Time: 120 minutes
Ingredients: 24 biscuits 1 kg hazelnuts 1 liter milk 150 grs sugar 125 grs butter 300 grs melted chocolate ¼ liter water 4 tbsps sugar 4 tbsps rum Skimmed milk
Preparation:
- Toast the hazelnuts to remove the 2 skins that they have, cook them in milk and make a puree of them.
- Add the sugar and cook them stirring continuously for the cream to thicken.
- Add 100 grs of butter and 150 grs of chocolate melted with 2 tbsps of milk, mix well.
- Butter a 1,2 liter flan mold and wrap the bottom and sides of the mold with greased paper.
- Wet the biscuits lightly in the four tbsps of sugar, rum and water; place them on the sides of the mold.
- Fill the mold with the hazelnut mix and cover with more biscuits (not as soaked as the previous ones placed on the sides.
- Cut a piece of paper the size of the mold and place it on top of the charlotte and place a lid or dish and place some weight on top to give it pressure.
- Place in the freezer from one day to the next.
- To remove from mold, place it for a little on hot water and after place it on a tray.
- Decorate with skimmed milk.
