Hazel Tart
- For 6 servings

Ingredients Tart dough 200gr flour 100gr butter or margarine 1tbsp sugar 1 egg yolk 1tbsp water Salt
Cream 2 yolks 2tbsps sugar 2tbsps cornstarch ½ liter of milk
Hazel cream 2 yolks 2tbsps sugar 1 cup milk 3 natural jell-o 100gr toasted, ground hazels
Preparation
- Put the flour on a table. Mix with butter, sugar, egg, water and salt. Mix with the fingers without kneading, until all is joined.
- Let it rest for 20 minutes in a fresh area.
- Extend the dough and form a detachable ring mold.
- Pinch the mold a little and fill with the following cream.
- Stir the 2 egg yolks with 2tbsps of sugar and the 2 of cornstarch.
- Add milk and put it in fire stirring continuously until it thickens.
- Pour onto a mold and place in the oven until the dough is brown.
- Remove and let it cool off.
- Beat 2 egg yolks with2 tbsps of sugar, add the hot milk slowly.
- Place into the fire and add the natural jell-o which should previously be soaked in cold water.
- Stir well.
- Let it cool off some and add the ground hazels.
- Pour on top of the tart.
Practical advice Sprinkle the tart with grated chocolate.
