Hazel Tart

Ingredients
Tart dough
200gr flour
100gr butter or margarine
1tbsp sugar
1 egg yolk
1tbsp water
Salt

Cream
2 yolks
2tbsps sugar
2tbsps cornstarch
½ liter of milk

Hazel cream
2 yolks
2tbsps sugar
1 cup milk
3 natural jell-o
100gr toasted, ground hazels

Preparation

  1. Put the flour on a table. Mix with butter, sugar, egg, water and salt. Mix with the fingers without kneading, until all is joined.
  2. Let it rest for 20 minutes in a fresh area.
  3. Extend the dough and form a detachable ring mold.
  4. Pinch the mold a little and fill with the following cream.
  5. Stir the 2 egg yolks with 2tbsps of sugar and the 2 of cornstarch.
  6. Add milk and put it in fire stirring continuously until it thickens.
  7. Pour onto a mold and place in the oven until the dough is brown.
  8. Remove and let it cool off.
  9. Beat 2 egg yolks with2 tbsps of sugar, add the hot milk slowly.
  10. Place into the fire and add the natural jell-o which should previously be soaked in cold water.
  11. Stir well.
  12. Let it cool off some and add the ground hazels.
  13. Pour on top of the tart.

Practical advice
Sprinkle the tart with grated chocolate.
