Green Orange Jam
Ingredients Green oranges, 4 Lime, 1 Sugar, 1 kilogram Water, ¾ liter Lemon or bergamot essence, to the taste
Preparation Slightly grate the orange and lime peels. Cut them in half, squeeze the juice from them and take the seeds out. Place the peels of the fruit along with the juice in a casserole. Cook this for around 30 minutes at moderate heat. Then reduce the heat to low heat and add in the sugar and allow it to cook uncovered until it acquires a jam consistency. Before putting it in a jar, add in the essence. Stir and keep in the refrigerator.
